The vineyard
The vintage
Seña is the first great Chilean wine. In 1995, Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi launched the first vintage. Located in the Aconcagua Vallet, Seña enjoys an exceptional terroir. The soil is made up of volcanic rock and produces fine wines with a beautiful freshness. Facing east, the property faces the Andes Mountains, which provides a cool and temperate climate all year round.
A full bodied wine in terms of colour and aromatic structure with lots of spices, red berries such as blackcurrant but also sweet and chocolate notes, the tannins are present but the wine already offers a beautiful tasting due to its freshness and acidity level. A wonderful balance between power and elegance. The 2017 vintage will age gracefully with time.
This is perhaps one of the most complete and definitive versions crafted so far by Seña.
