Full description

The estate

A noble château steeped in history... Located in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez in the Var, Château Saint-Maur Cru Classé, built at the end of the 19th century, inherited its name from a former monastery established on the estate. There is still a chapel erected on the grounds of the estate.
Its soil, blessed by the Gods, is predestined to produce great Côtes de Provence wines.
This is how Roger Zannier, a wine enthusiast, bought the property Château Saint-Maur Côtes de Provence Cru Classé, renowned for the finesse of its white wines, the aromas of its rosé wines, the elegance of its red wines
Owner of two wineries, Roger Zannier offers a range of Côtes de Provence Cru Classé wines: Clos Saint-Vincent, Clos de Capelune, L'Excellence, Saint-M and a Saint-Maur collection with You are Maur and Maur & More.

AN EXCEPTIONAL TERROIR WORKED WITH EXCELLENCE

Within his domain of a hundred hectares located in the Var, Roger Zannier works on the exceptional.
While preserving Crus Classés wines such as Clos de Capelune, L'Excellence or Saint-M, this wine owner imposes no limits on his quality requirements. To do so, he built a high-tech winery in 2013 and launched a replanting and complantation program completed in 2021.
Also, in order to preserve their freshness, the grapes of the Crus Classés are picked by hand at night. Château Saint-Maur Cru Classé is thus recognized for the excellence of its wines.

The Vintage

The excellence range embodies the estate's DNA.

This gastronomic wine humbly combines the expression of its terroir with its elegance.
